MARLBOROUGH – Julia (Ramirez) Hochen, 96, of Marlborough died Sunday November 14, 2021 at Waterview Lodge & Rehabilitation in Ashland.

She was the wife of the late Otto Hochen who died in 2008.

She was born and raised in San Francisco, La Union, Guatemala; the daughter of the late Manuel Ramirez and Eusebia Hernandez.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Northborough and served as a regular pioneer for 33 years, volunteering her time to teach others about the bible. She was mild, humble, and kind-hearted. She had the best sense of humor and loved to dance.

She leaves four sons, Juan Eduardo,  Manuel, Ferdinan, and Ismar Dario; four daughters, Laura Esperanza, Elvira, Susel, and Georgina; three sisters, Felisa, Olga, and Consuelo; forty-two grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by five children.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Dell Park Cemetery in Natick.

Calling hours and funeral services will be private.
