SLIDESHOW: Flyers Blast Past Rockets 3-1 on Senior Day

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham high girls soccer team hosted the Rockets of Needham High at Bowditch Field on Halloween afternoon.

It was the final regular season game of the season, and before the game the seniors on the team, and the senior manager were honored.

Senior captain Brooke Haarala got the Flyers on the scoreboard with goal assisted by Sophia Wendt.

Summer Haarala scored the game winner when the goalie mishandled the ball and went into the net. Gabby Aprino registered the assist.

Wendt got the insurance and third goal for the Flyers off a feed from Summer Haarala.

The Flyers now await the MIAA seedings.

Framingham finished the regular season at 10-5-3.
