FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High junior Sam Burgess won the Bay State Conference cross-country championship meet this weekend.

Burgess was the first to cross the finish line in 15:27.9 minutes.

There were more than 80 runners in the championship race.

Needham High senior Kyler McNatt captured second place in 15:39.8 minutes.

Weymouth junior David Manfredi was third in 15.56.2 minutes.

Framingham High finished fourth overall as a team.

Brookline High won the team title.
