MARLBOROUGH – Pauline H. (Dudley) Emond, 90, of Marlborough died Saturday October 9, 2021 at The Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation after a period of declining health with her family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Henry G. Emond who died in 1997.
Pauline was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Alfred and Delores (Scott) Dudley and was a graduate of St. Anne’s Academy Class of 1949.
She worked as a secretary for many years at Dennison Manufacturing Company and was also a clerk at Rich’s Department Store.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. She liked vacationing in the summers and on the weekends in Brant Rock, MA. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, reading, gardening, word search puzzles, going for walks and was an avid Patriots fan.
She leaves her son Henry G. Emond II and her daughter Paulette H. Emond both of Marlborough; her sister-in-law, Shirley Lubsen, who she was very close to, many cousins, nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her siblings, Alfred, Arline Ordung, Donald, Ronald, and most recently, Elaine Gardner who died in July.
We would like to extend a huge debt of gratitude to the staff at The Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation and MetroWest Hospice for their superb care and compassion given to our Mother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday October 18 at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson Street.
