Framingham DPW Announces Water Main Flushing in October & November

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham’s Water Department announced today, September 27, it will begin conducting its water main fall flushing program starting on Monday, October 4, through Friday, November 12, 2021.

Flushing will start in Zone 1, and the program will be conducted Monday-Friday (excluding holidays), from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The purpose of the program is to improve drinking water quality for residents and businesses in Framingham.

The areas to be flushed are bounded by Maple Street, Franklin Street, Grove Street, Blackberry Lane, and the Southborough town line.
