FRAMINGHAM – The City’s three beaches were scheduled to open on Thursday, June 17 for the season, but only one of the three beaches actually opened.

The City’s beaches are free again this year – for the second consecutive year – but at this time only Learned’s Pond beach is open for swimmers.

The City’s beaches are open 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Saxonville Beach on Lake Road and Lake Waushakum on Nipmuc Terrace are still closed, due to elevated E.coli counts

While the beaches are free this year, they are for residents only. Residents must show ID with a Framingham address to gain access, said the City of Framingham.
