FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Schools began full-time in-person classes for middle school students today, and reported its 150th case during the 2020-21 school year.
On April 5, elementary school students returned to full-time in-person classroom education. About 85% of students returned in grades K-5.
The latest case was reported at Wilson Elementary School on April 27.
The district does not list if cases are teachers, staff, or students in the dashboard, or when the district sends emails to staff or families.

With the latest case, the district has had a total of 150 cases this 2020-21 academic school year.
Framingham High School leads the district with 38 cases.

The district has been testing staff weekly.
Students are being testing via pooled testing.
The administration, said as of April 1, the percentage of students participate in pooled testing was 56%.
The City of Framingham had been designated as a high risk community for the spread of the virus as of April 1 by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, but as of April 15, the City was downgraded to yellow status.
