FRAMINGHAM – All 26 residents at The Branches of Framingham received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday, January 13.

In total, 55 staff and residents were vaccinated against the virus, said Mohammed Ali, associate executive director of The Branches of Framingham.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is two doses administered 21 days apart. The residents & staff will receive their second dose on February 3, said Ali.

“The residents couldn’t wait to receive the vaccine,” said Ali.

“We had 100% participation of residents,” said Ali.

“We are grateful to CVS” for administering the vaccines, added Ali.

The Branches of Framingham was third Branches facility to receive the vaccine, said Ali.
