FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Cultural Council is soliciting contributions for the Rita and Bill Collins Memorial Arts Scholarship. A Scholarship will be awarded to a senior graduating from a high school in Framingham who is seeking higher education majoring in the arts.
The scholarship recipient will be selected based on an essay describing the student’s demonstrated interest in a field of the arts and the student’s community activities, together with an evaluation of a piece of art work created in the past 24 month.

Send tax deductable contribution for the Rita and Bill Collins Memorial Arts Scholarship to the Framingham Cultural Council before March 31, 2021.
Rita Collins was the Cultural Council administrator extraordinaire and, when she retired, a member and treasurer of the Cultural Council. She managed the grant processing procedures and the grant reimbursement procedures. She was a model of dedication and loyalty to the Cultural Council.
Bill Collins was a former member of Framingham Cultural Council. As a volunteer in Framingham, Bill designed a variety of logos, posters, and other materials for individuals, and for government, cultural and civic groups. He designed the logo used by the Council on its letterhead and other publications. He loved all forms of the arts.
