City of Framingham Surpasses 2,500 Coronavirus Cases; Announces 27 New COVID Cases Since Wednesday and 143rd & 144th Deaths

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced 27 new COVID-19 cases since Wednesday.

That means 81 news cases since last Friday.

Since the pandemic, there have been 144 deaths, as the city announced two new deaths today, October 23.

The state has designated Framingham as a high-risk community for COVID-19 community for 8 consecutive weeks.

Superintendent of Bob Tremblay announced a delay to hybrid learning from November to January 2021, earlier this month.

Framingham has had a total of 2,525. coronavirus cases since the pandemic began.

The good news is 2,211 individuals have recovered, or more than 85%.

Active cases in the City of Framingham are at 170.

As of today, there are 116 individual in quarantine.
