1 For the seventh consecutive week, Framingham is a high-risk community for the virus. The City has been in high-risk status since the final week of August. Framingham Health Director Sam Wong wants every resident to get tested for the coronavirus.
The drive-thru free COVID testing site at Walsh Middle School is open today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. However, the site has been shut off early due to capacity issues.
There is also a free testing site at Amazing Things Arts Center on Hollis Street from 3 to 6 p.m. It is walk-up only. no parking.
2. According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer she will hold a community Zoom hour with Health Director Sam Wong on the COVID-19n pandemic today at 5 p.m. The public can attend and ask questions.
The Spicer administration announced yesterday that Library Director Lena Kilburn and Parks & Recreation Director James Snyder will also join the Zoom.

4. There is urban street sweeping today from 9 a.m. to noon. The city will ticket and tow cars parked on the roads.
