1 Framingham Health Director Sam Wong wants every resident to get tested for the coronavirus.
For the seventh consecutive week, Framingham is a high-risk community for the virus. The City has been in high-risk status since the final week of August.
The drive-thru free COVID testing site at Walsh Middle School is open today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. However, the site has been shut off early due to capacity issues.
There is also a free testing site at SMOC HQ at 7 Bishop Street from 3 to 6 p.m.
2. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Today is International Mammography Day.

3. Framingham City Hall closes today at 1 p.m.

There are no meetings today, October 16, but the Framingham Youth Council will meet on Saturday, October 17 at 6 p.m. with state representatives Jack Patrick Lewis & Maria Robinson. The public is invited to attend.
