MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlborough remains a high-risk community for the coronavirus.
Today, October 12, City announced 43 new positive COVID-19 cases since Friday, October 9.
The City is reporting a total of 1,330 cases, since the pandemic began.

Marlborough became one of the Commonwealth’s high-risk communities in the state at the end of September.
The City of Marlborough’s COVID-19 positive rate increased from 13.8 to 17.4 as of October 8th.
The State considers a community high risk if there are more than 8 new cases per day per 100,000 people over a 2-week period.
The City announced two more COVID-19 deaths, to mark 72 since the pandemic.
The good news is that 1,178 individuals have recovered from the virus.
Active cases in the City increased from 61 to 80.
