STONEHAM – The New England Police Benevolent Association has endorsed Republican candidate Caroline Colarusso for US Congress last Thursday in Yarmouth. Caroline Colarusso is running in Massachusetts’ 5th District to unseat Congresswoman Katherine Clark (D) who has co-sponsored legislation that would undermine law enforcement nationwide.

“I am very pleased and honored to announce that I have been endorsed by the New England Police Benevolent Association which represents the many men and woman in law enforcement who keep our communities safe. Their motto is “Representing New England’s Finest,” and they sure do. THANK YOU to the NEPBA members for your vote of confidence,” said Colarusso.

“With recent attacks on our police across the nation and the violent rioting that plagues too many of our cities, it’s critical that we stand with our law enforcement officers and let them know that we support them. They support all Americans on the front lines, every day. Congresswoman Clark has been noticeably silent on the violence taking place in our own state and across our nation because it doesn’t fit her political narrative. I won’t be. ” said Colarusso.

Colarusso is a Stoneham Selectwoman and has served in that capacity for the last five years.

The election is in November.
