FRAMINGHAM – Saturday, August 1, was Framingham Fire Lt. Dave Peters last day with the City of Framingham.

Hired on July 11, 1999, Lt. Peters retired after 21 years as a firefighter. He was promoted to Lieutenant on December 9, 2016. His last position held with the department was as EMS officer.

“Dave was instrumental in helping the Department acquire the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during this Covid-19 pandemic.  He was resourceful and vigilant, helping to keep Framingham Firefighters safe and healthy and ready to respond to all types of emergencies,’ said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.
