City’s First Sustainability Coordinator To Speak At Coburnville-Tripoli Neighborhood Meeting

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham’s first-ever sustainability coordinator will speak at the next meeting of the Coburnville-Tripoli Neighborhood Association.

Hired in October of 2018, Sustainability Coordinator Shawn Luz is one of several guest speakers on the neighborhood association’s agenda for Monday, February 24.

The meeting will be held at Barbieri Elementary School at 7 p.m.

Monthly, the Association highlights businesses in the neighborhood. At the February meeting, Framingham Baking Company, which has been in business since 1917 will be the featured business.

Framingham Police Advisory Committee member Nicole Doak will speak to the Association, on the city’s newest committee. The Committee was created as part of the charter.

Marcus Baptista from the City of Framingham Census Count Committee will also speak on Monday night.

The Association is also planning its second annual neighborhood block party for June and a marathon party in April

The Association typically meets the third Monday of the month, but is meeting the fourth Monday this month, due to school vacation week.
