Kathleen “Mimi” Olson, 78, a longtime resident of Framingham died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Born in Co. Cavan, Ireland, Kathleen was the daughter of the late John & Maryellen Cahill.
A devout catholic, Kathleen was a longtime parishioner of St. Tarcisius Parish and enjoyed watching mass every morning and saying the rosary daily. She worked for over 27 years at Friendly Pizza in Framingham, as well as a school lunch lady at the Barbieri Elementary School.
Kathy leaves behind her daughter, Shannon “Shay” Olson-Mayhew, her grandchildren, John M. Connolly & his wife Alexandria, Brianna R. Connolly, and Christopher Connolly, her great grandson, Bane E. Connolly, her niece, Melanie Stonehouse-Fell, her grandniece and grandnephew, DJ Fell, and Ollivia Fell, her son in law, John E. Connolly, and along with her brother and sister and their families in Ireland.
Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Kathy’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Saturday February 1st in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham from 4-6pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Ireland at a later date. Please dress casually.
