It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas William Prifti of South Yarmouth, formerly of Worcester, Shrewsbury, and Framingham, who left us on December 11, 2023.
Dougie was born in Brockton on September 3, 1964. He was the son of William E. Prifti of South Yarmouth, formerly of Framingham and Brockton and the late Jeanne F. Prifti, of South Yarmouth, formerly of Framingham and Milton. Brother of Lauren Murphy and her husband Matthew of Middleboro.
Survivors are Doug’s three sons; Liam, his partner Dakota Maher, and their daughter Jayde of Webster, Bradley of Worcester, and Dylan of Westborough.
Doug attended Keefe Technical High School and North High in Framingham. Doug worked as an autobody mechanic for many years with De Collibus Auto Body in Framingham, and also held various Union jobs in Boston. He loved cars, both vintage and late model.
Family and friends will honor and remember Douglas’ life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Tuesday, December 19th from 4-7PM. His Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.
