FRAMINGHAM – Travel for free on the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority bus to the 11th Annual Framingham Earth Day festival on Saturday, April 22 at Framingham Center Common.

The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority will be having service from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Service will start at the Banana Lot in Framingham, travel up to the Green, continue to Edmands House, and then turn back and do the reverse.

“I am thankful for the MWRTA for supplying this service for free to the Framingham Earth Day Festival. This transportation method not only cuts down on carbon emissions by having fewer vehicles attend the festival, but it provides much needed transportation to the Festival, for those in the City who do not have vehicles,” said Associate Earth Day Director Isabella Petroni.

Riders also have the option to take the MWRTA’s existing Routes 2 and 3 Saturday which both travel past the Green in opposite directions. They can also take the Route 9 which would let them off by the pedestrian bridge on High St, near Mad Willies.
