Framingham To Discontinue Fire Truck Birthday & Graduation Parades in June

FRAMINGHAM _ The Framingham Fire Department announced announced this afternoon, May 28, effective June 15, 2020, the Framingham Fire Department will need to discontinue our Fire Truck Birthday/Graduation/Retirement Parade Program.

“As the State and City move forward along the phased reopening, with businesses reopening and social restrictions easing, the Department is already experiencing a return to normal levels of calls for emergency and essential services,” announced the department.

The department said it would continue to honor all requests already received.

“We have been honored to take part in all of these events during these challenging times,” said the department on social media.
