This includes tackling racial disparities, investing in early childhood education, pushing for the fair share amendment, and opposing state receivership and lifting the cap on charter schools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Palfrey also outlines the AG\u2019s role in providing access to higher education by standing up for student borrowers, and measures to divert young people from the criminal legal system with community based alternatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;54526&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMassachusettts has an affirmative constitutional obligation to provide high quality public education,\u201d said Palfrey. \u201cThe Attorney General must work to ensure that every child in the Commonwealth gets the start in life they deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read the full education policy proposal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quentinpalfrey.com\/fight-for-equitable-access-to-public-education\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Palfrey is a former Assistant Attorney General and was the first chief of the office\u2019s healthcare division. He also served in senior roles in both the Obama and Biden Administrations, and is the founder of the Voter Protection Corps, an organization that works to combat voter suppression. In the race for AG, Palfrey is the endorsed candidate of the Massachusetts Democratic Party, several of Massachusetts leading progressive and environmental advocacy organizations, and over 300 grassroots endorsers from communities in every county in the Commonwealth.
