BOSTON – Switzerland\u2019s Manuela Sch\u00e4r won her fourth Boston Marathon today, April 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a time of 1:41:08 she easily won the women’s wheelchair division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, Sch\u00e4r set a women\u2019s wheelchair world record (1:28:17) when she won the first of her titles in Boston (2019, 2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She finished 5:12 ahead of second-place Susannah Scaroni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sch\u00e4r won the October 2021 Boston Marathon race by nearly 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today was her 15th marathon title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For finishing first she earned a $62,500 prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel Romanchuk, 23, led for 23 of the 26.2 miles to win the men’s wheelchair division today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Boston Marathon time was 1:26:58. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second place finisher Aaron Pike completed the 26.2 milke course at 1:32:49.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
