MARLBOROUGH \u2013 For the second consecutive day, the City of Marlborough is reporting a coronavirus related death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City has now had four deaths due to COVID-19, since the pandemic began.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City of Marlborough is reporting 16 new cases of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 211, as of Thursday, April 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is an 8.2% increase in positive cases in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is unknown at this time how many individual have been tested in the City of Marlborough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City of Marlborough is reported 75 individual have recovered from COVID-19, for a total of 124 active cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time since the pandemic began, the City of Marlborough is releasing cases by age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts reported its largest number of COVID-19 positive cases within a 24 hour period today, April at 16, \u2013 2,263 cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Commonwealth saw a 7.5% increase in coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Massachusets Governor Charlie Baker has been saying for weeks the surge in COVID-19 cases was expected now through April 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is reporting a total of 32,181 positive cases since the pandemic began, as of April 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Middlesex County gas the most cases at 7206<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest, at 272 cases<\/a><\/strong>, as of yesterday. They have not reported numbers today, Thursday, April 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United States now has the post confirmed cases worldwide at 653,825, as today, April 16.1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worldwide, there are more than 2 million confirmed cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In America, the Centers For Disease Control has reported 27,012 deaths as of noon today, April 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
