FRAMINGHAM – Police are investigating a “fatal pedestrian accident” that happened Sunday night, January 17 around 9, said Framingham Police Lt. Rachel Mickens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The male pedestrian was struck near 1701 Worcester Road, near the intersection of California Avenue and Worcester Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The victim was in his 40s, said police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We will not release the identity until next of kin has been notified,” said Lt. Mickens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Route 9 westbound was closed last night for a couple of hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Framingham Police are investigating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
