He was the\u00a0husband of 63 years to Shirley Ann (Nelson) Thistle of Holliston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ed proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His talent\u00a0in life was woodworking and carpentry. He took pleasure in\u00a0gifting others with his works of art.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His greatest passion in life was his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to his&nbsp;wife, Ed is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Conroy and her&nbsp;husband, John of Holliston and Brenda Kursawe and her&nbsp;husband, John of Hilton Head, SC.
