{"id":57830,"date":"2021-12-20T14:39:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-20T19:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/framinghamsource.com\/?p=57830"},"modified":"2021-12-20T15:07:48","modified_gmt":"2021-12-20T20:07:48","slug":"city-announces-plans-to-distribute-rapid-covid-tests","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/framinghamsource.com\/index.php\/2021\/12\/20\/city-announces-plans-to-distribute-rapid-covid-tests\/","title":{"rendered":"City Announces Plans To Distribute Rapid COVID Tests"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>The following is a press release from the City of Framingham<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>***<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;59947&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Framingham, MA &#8211; The City of Framingham will begin to distribute 10,000 iHealth Labs over-the-counter at-home rapid antigen test kits (two tests per kit) from the Baker-Polito Administration with an emphasis on increasing testing access for residents who are facing financial hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>In keeping with the State\u2019s priorities, approximately half of the test kits will be distributed to Framingham community-based organizations that serve individuals facing financial hardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Next week, an organized public distribution will begin for Framingham residents ONLY. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A trilingual form will be made available on Thursday, December 23, at 1 p.m. via the City\u2019s website and COVID-19 page to register for public distribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;59983&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Priority for the public distribution will be given to Framingham residents ONLY who attest to financial hardship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once tests have been assigned, the form will be closed. An electronic communication will be sent via email, including details for picking up your test kit. Submission of the form DOES NOT guarantee a test kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>You will need to bring and show a copy of the email verification (electronic or print) and proof of residency (driver\u2019s license, another form of identification, or piece of mail) at the time of collection.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Names will be cross-referenced with the submitted registration form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;59946&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Additional details about registering for the City\u2019s Public Distribution:<br>\u2022 Submission of the form DOES NOT guarantee a test kit.<br>\u2022 Only ONE form submission per household, please. Duplicate form submissions with the same IP<br>address WILL BE DELETED.<br>\u2022 There are two tests in each test kit.<br>\u2022 A maximum of two test kits (four tests total) will be provided per household.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u2022 Test kits will be provided to Framingham residents ONLY.
