MWRTA has increased cleaning and disinfecting measures throughout the entire building, and is not allowing any non-essential outside visitors into the building until further notice,&#8217; said the MWRTA in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;53820&#8243;]<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MWRTA also requests that passengers only travel on public transit for<br> essential needs such as grocery shopping, visiting the pharmacy, and essential employees travelling to and from work, said the MWRTA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;To continue our approach and focus on keeping all drivers and passengers as safe as possible, MWRTA will not be enforcing the fare policy beginning on Monday, April 6, 2020,&#8221; said the authority in a statement.&#8221;MWRTA feels that eliminating as much driver\/passenger contact as possible and not touching surfaces is important and necessary to the safety and well-being of all.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;58610&#8243;]<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, MWRTA will close off every other seat inside the Fixed Route buses to ensure that passengers are sitting a safe distance from one another, said the Framingham-based authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;MWRTA is committed to continuing to provide Fixed Route service, and strongly requests that any rider who feels ill or experiences flu-like symptoms stay home and not travel,&#8221;
