He is a Framingham resident.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOne of our organization\u2019s greatest assets is our highly engaged board, and the board is further strengthened by new members who bring strong leadership qualities, diverse personal perspectives and professional experience, and active engagement in their communities,\u201d\u00a0said David B. Waters, CEO of Community Servings.\u00a0 \u201cOur new directors and their shared passion for our \u2018food is medicine\u2019 mission will help guide Community Servings as we continue to grow and serve more people with critical and chronic illnesses.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;58610&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new board members began their leadership roles with Community Servings in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wilmot serves as senior vice president, chief operating officer and executive director of PACE (Programs of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center.\u00a0 He helps oversee the largest community health center in Massachusetts with an operating budget of about $200 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wilmot held a number of leadership roles prior to joining the health center, including director of Medicaid operations at what is now AllWays Health Partners and director of business and network development at Boston Medical Center.&nbsp; He earlier served at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services as director of strategic planning and senior advisor to the EOHHS secretary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Framingham resident earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from Boston College and an MBA from Northeastern University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;59984&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>***<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Founded in 1990, Community Servings\u2019 mission is to actively engage the community to provide medically tailored, nutritious, scratch-made meals to chronically and critically ill individuals and their families. To help clients maintain their health and dignity, Community Servings provides culturally appropriate meals, nutrition education and counseling, and other community programs. With support from thousands of volunteers, the kitchen team prepares over 800,000 medically tailored meals home-delivered to 3,200 clients annually.
