He lives on Edgell Road in District 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Framingham Planning Board has selected District 1 resident Joseph Norton to serve on the Committee. Norton is a former Zoning Board of Appeals alternate member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-70ba74b8-4fe5-4c44-8ad0-159582f3fd26\">In November of 2020, voters said yes to the Community Preservation Act (CPA) 19,078 votes to 11,414.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-cd620801-2eda-441c-9d82-a96a20f6b59f\">Residential and commercial property owners will pay about a 1 percent surcharge on their property tax bill, starting fiscal year 2021 on July 1, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;59945&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-0fc10092-582c-4a58-9684-ceae78762945\">The Framingham Community Preservation Committee would be comprised of nine members, including a member member of the Planning Board, Conservation Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Historic Commission and Framingham Housing Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The remaining four members would be appointed by the City Council. All must be Framingham residents.
