FRAMINGHAM – A member of Stapleton Elementary School community has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Framingham Public Schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“All staff and student in TLC 3\/4 homebase will be remote” on Wednesday, December 2, said the email to staff at the Saxonville-based elementary school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The district said in an email today, December 1, individuals who were \u201cidentified as close contacts of the person with COVID-19 have been notified and instructed to remain home in quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those individuals received a phone call from the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The district considers close contact to be within 6 feet of the person for at least 15 cumulative 15 minutes with a 24 hour period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month, the Framingham Public School district announced a COVID dashboard.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been cases at Barbieri, Blocks, Fuller, King, Potter Road, Framingham High, and Wilson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 29, the District announced due to positive cases and quarantining members, King and Explorers staff will work remotely until a return to the building on December 7.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was announced tonight that Ashland High School will go remote immediately.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the district\u2019s 9,000+ students are attended school virtually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Framingham Public School returned a couple hundred students in October with the highest needs to their physical classrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 5, roughly another 300 students returned to the classroom, including more students at BLOCKS preschool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Superintendent of Schools announced last week, that about 2,000 high needs students would NOT return to the classrooms in December<\/strong> \u2013 this is phase III.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
