The fines are through November 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the state&#8217;s re-opening guidelines, each type of business had strict rules for re-opening, including but not limited to employees wearing masks, capacity limits for customers, cleaning, and what happens when an employee tests positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/framinghamsource.com\/index.php\/2020\/06\/11\/city-of-framingham-fines-samba-steak-sushi-again\/\">Samba Steak &amp; Sushi on Route 9 was the first business fined and the business most fined by the City of Framingham<\/a><\/strong>. Samba was first fined on May 29. The restaurant was fined a total of four times between May 29 and July 13, for a total of $700.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;59948&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lowe&#8217;s on Route 9 was fined $100 on July 20 for violating the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/doc\/june-6-2020-phase-ii-reopening\/download\">state&#8217;s Phase Ii re-opening order<\/a><\/strong>, according to the City of Framingham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only fine issued in August to a business was Dollar Tree at 24 Blandin Avenue n August 19. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/doc\/phase-3-order-july-2-2020\/download\">$100 fine was issued for violating the state&#8217;s Phase II re-opening order<\/a><\/strong>, according to the City of Framingham.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No business fines were issued in September and only one business fine was issued in October. That fine was issued to Friendly Farms at 155 Cochituate Road on October 24. the $300 fine was issued for violating the state&#8217;s Phase III re-opening plan. Friendly Farms was the first business to pay its COVID fine to the city on November 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;59946&#8243;]<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of Framingham has issued five COVID fines to businesses in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those fines were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Chipotle at Shoppers World on November 4 for $300.<\/li><li>Auto Zone at 341 Cochituate Road on November 5 for $300. The fine has been paid.<\/li><li>Sweet Home Furniture at 145 Concord Street on November 13 for $300.<\/li><li>The Buckley Apartments at 480 Franklin Street on November 13 for $300.
