ASHLAND – For the second time this month, the Ashland Ale House is closing temporaily due to a positive COVID-19 case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ashland Ale House closed earlier this month and re-opened a few days later<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Today, we discovered one of our employees has tested positive for COVID-19. Thankfully, they are doing fine and we have confirmed they have not recently had close contact with any guests. Out of an abundance of caution for our staff and guests, we are suspending business today, until further notice. temporarily closing will allow time for the restaurant to be professionally cleaned,” wrote the Royte 126 establishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Massachusetts, if an employee, customer, or vendor of restaurant tests positive or is presumed to be positive for COVID-19, the restaurant must immediately shut down for at least 24 hours, cleaning and disinfecting in accordance with CDC guidelines before reopening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ashland restaurant closure today, October 28, is the second restaurant in Ashland and the third in two weeks to close due to a positive coronavirus test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yesterday, Mexico City Taqueria closed after an employee tested positive as well<\/a><\/strong>, but has re-opened for business tonight, October 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The employee that has tested positive has not been in direct contact with any other staff or customers in over a week, and as a precaution we are having all staff tested immediately,” said the Meico City Taqueria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, Stone’s Public House closed on Wednesday after an employee tested positive<\/a><\/strong>. The Main Street restaurant re-opened today.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
