FRAMINGHAM – Massachusetts\u2019s average gas price is up two cents from last week ($2.10)<\/em>, averaging $2.12 per gallon, according to AAA which has an office in Framingham. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today\u2019s price is 11 cents cheaper than a month ago ($2.04)<\/em> and 63 cents cheaper than July 13, 2019 ($2.75)<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Massachusetts\u2019s average gas price is 7 cents lower than the national average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Energy Information Administration\u2019s (EIA) data shows gasoline demand and supply continue on a roller coaster ride,\u201d said Mary Maguire, AAA Northeast Director of Public and Legislative Affairs, in a press release.\u201cAs motorists react to unfolding COVID-19 information, we are seeing driving behaviors related to filling-up ebb and flow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AAA Northeast\u2019s July 13 survey of fuel prices found the current national average to be <\/strong>$2.19, up a penny from last week ($2.18)<\/em>. Today\u2019s national average price is 9 cents higher than a month ago ($2.10)<\/em>, and 59 cents cheaper than this day last year ($2.78)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
