HUDSON – A family-owned Italian restaurant is closing on Saturday after almost two decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serving Tuscan-inspired Italian cuisine in Hudson since 2001, Sofia’s Rstorante announced today, June 22, it is closing on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located on Main Street, the Italian restaurant re-opened for curb-side service on May 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It is with a heavy heart and bittersweet emotions that we announce the final week of service at Sofia Ristorante. Our doors will be closing permanently on Saturday, June 27th. Emma Parente\u2019s family thanks you for your support and patronage,” wrote the establishment on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indoor dining began this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reservations are available from noon to 8 p.m. The menu for the final week is below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“While this crisis has changed daily operations, we pledge that we will not sacrifice quality here at Sofia Ristorante.\u00a0 You can feel safe knowing that your safety is our #1 priority,” wrote the restaurant when it began offering indoor dining this week. “Keeping our staff small and family-oriented helps us maintain fresh family-style food, even though it\u2019s to-go or experienced with limited seating in our dining room.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“When Emma Parente opened Sofia Ristorante she brought first-hand knowledge of authentic Tuscan cuisine. The daughter of two Italian immigrants, she watched her parents work hard toward the American dream.
