He said that the city solicitor changed their decision and ruled that our permit falls under the governor&#8217;s emergency declaration on waiving zoning restrictions until November 1. So no hearing will be necessary, we can just open as soon as we have licensing approved,&#8221; said Exhibit A General Manager Kelsey Roth in an email to SOURCE around noon today, June 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;53820&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/framinghamsource.com\/index.php\/2020\/06\/18\/exhibit-a-brewing-frustrated-by-permitting-process-says-city-roadblocking-its-beer-garden\/\">Yesterday, a planned hearing for the Morton Street brewing company for its beer garden was cancelled when a City staffer did not post the meeting notice in accordance with state law.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We will need to do the modification of the permit for next year, but we have a little breathing room for that,&#8217; said Roth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019, \u201cwhen we originally applied for the Special Permit with Inspectional Services and the Planning Department, we had mentioned that the beer garden would be temporary, as in seasonal and not a year-round location, and that we would like the option to do it again in subsequent years,\u201d  said Roth to Source earlier this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;59945&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City Building Inspector had ruled that the permit was for 2019 only and that Exhibit A would need to re-file in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/framinghamsource.com\/index.php\/2020\/06\/18\/exhibit-a-brewing-frustrated-by-permitting-process-says-city-roadblocking-its-beer-garden\/\">We have run into some roadblocks with the city on getting it licensed when the time comes and have received little to no help from various councils and departments,\u201d said Roth, earlier this week.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roth still needs to apply to the Framingham License Board but a hearing before Framingham Planning Board is now not needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;59946&#8243;]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[broadstreet zone=&#8221;51611&#8243;] FRAMINGHAM &#8211; The planned beer garden at Exhibit A Brewing Company has now received the approval to open without going before the Framingham Planning Board. &#8220;I just got off the phone with Kevin Shea.
