Amy is an ICU nurse who has worked at Framingham Union Hospital for seven years.<\/p>\n<p>Amy was nominated by a family who tragically lost two loved ones in a fire. They praised her for not only providing exceptional care to their loved one, but also for supporting the entire family with kindness and empathy during an incredibly difficult time.\u00a0 In their nomination, the family wrote: &#8220;We will never forget her.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The DAISY Award honors nurses who demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and compassionate care, making a profound difference in the lives of patients and their families. Amy\u2019s dedication and empathy truly exemplify the values at the heart of the DAISY Foundation\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n<p>The DAISY Award was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes, who passed away after battling an autoimmune disease.
