Tomasi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Joseph J. Tomasi, 96, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Saturday, December 6, 2025. Born in Natick, he was the son of the late Joseph C. &amp; Mary L. (Boland) Tomasi.<\/p>\n<p>Joe was a 1947 graduate of Framingham High School. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. He was an accomplished musician and was a trumpeter in the Navy Band. In 1956, he began his career serving his community as a Police Officer of the Town of Framingham. First as a patrolman, and later a sergeant. He retired in 1995 after more than 39 years, he received numerous commendations and awards<\/p>\n<p>Joe was a life member of the Framingham Elks and the Framingham Police Association. He enjoyed golf, and was an avid Red Sox Fan.<\/p>\n<p>Joe is survived by his cousins, Susan Bent &amp; her husband Paul, Michelle Garry &amp; her husband Brian, and Jan LoCicero.<\/p>\n<p>Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Joe\u2019s life by celebrating his Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, December 16<sup>th<\/sup> in St. Stephen Church, 251 Concord St. Framingham at 10 o\u2019clock. Interment will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45PM.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joseph J.
