Ruben Resto Ortiz, 79, a resident of Framingham and formerly of Guayama, Puerto Rico, died Tuesday, May 16, 2023 after a period of declining health.<\/p>\n
Ruben was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, the 5th<\/sup> child of 15 children to Tomasa Ortiz and Antonio Resto. He was raised and educated in Puerto Rico, and went on to work as Police Officer for a time, as a plumber, and in his later years taxi driver.\u00a0\u00a0 For many years Ruben would split his time between Puerto Rico and the States, and settled in Framingham for the last 15 or so years.<\/p>\n Ruben is survived by his siblings and too numerous to count, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and even a couple generations after!<\/p>\n Family and friends will honor and remember Ruben\u2019s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Friday, May 19th<\/sup> from 11am-2pm.
