MetroWest Medical Center announces the renewal of its American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation for Breast Ultrasound, reaffirming the facility’s commitment to quality imaging and patient care.

ACR accreditation is a nationally recognized designation that evaluates imaging facilities on criteria such as equipment performance, staff qualifications, and quality assurance practices. Accreditation indicates that the facility meets ACR requirements for quality and safety.

MetroWest Medical Center’s commitment to breast imaging also includes advanced services like Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS), which may be used as a supplemental screening tool, particularly for some women with dense breast tissue.

The achievement reflects the dedication and expertise of the medical center’s imaging team in meeting the accreditation’s comprehensive requirements.

Regular mammograms are an important tool for the early detection of breast cancer, often identifying changes before symptoms appear. Get more information or schedule a mammogram here:  Mammogram| Breast Cancer Screening | MetroWest Medical Center
