Mary Jane Holt, 70, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Monday, March 23, 2026 after a period of declining health. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Paul & Mary (Wood) Raevsky, and the beloved wife of William Holt.
Raised and educated in Framingham, Mary Jane graduated from Framingham South High School with honors and was a National Honor Society Member. Over the years, she worked for General Motors, Proctor & Gamble, TJX, and Toys R Us.
Never afraid to speak her mind, Mary Jane truly cherished her relationships with family and friends. She was a skilled seamstress, and relished in cheering on her husband, kids, and grandkids competing on the athletic fields. She was their biggest fan.
Besides her husband Bill, Mary Jane is survived by her children, Jennifer Harding and her husband David, Melissa Horne and her husband Chris, and Joshua Holt, and her grandchildren, Derek Duval, Jordan Harding, Tatum Harding, Bailey Horne, Sydney Horne, and Stella Horne.
Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Mary Jane’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Sunday, March 29th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning in St. Stephen Church, 251 Concord St. Framingham at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Jane’s name to Tufts Medical Center, Pulmonary Dept.
