Patients at MetroWest Medical Center are receiving added support thanks to a recent donation from United Way of Tri-County, which provided 50 toiletry kits to the hospital’s Caring Closet initiative.
Each kit includes essential personal care items such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, and deodorant. These items can make a real difference for patients in need.
The Caring Closet was created to support patients beyond their medical care, offering items like coats, clothing, and shoes, along with personal care products, to help ensure they leave the hospital feeling comfortable, dignified, and supported.
The initiative was led by Sam Dahlstedt, Director of Radiology at MetroWest Medical Center, who helped coordinate the donation. He is pictured alongside United Way of Tri-County Resource Development Director, Jen Bray.
The donation underscores the power of community collaboration in supporting patient care. MetroWest Medical Center expressed appreciation to United Way of Tri-County for the donation and for helping ensure patients receive this essential support.
