Jeanne L. (Hofmann) Dervin, 100, a longtime resident of Framingham died Sunday, March 8, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Louise (Wiegand) Hofmann, and the beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Dervin, Sr.

She was born and raised in Louisville, KY and was one of seven children. Jeanne enjoyed a successful career in the ball bearing industry, taking on increasing responsibilities in their sales division until she married and moved to Massachusetts in 1963. She had a second career in market research.

Jeanne enjoyed summers in Kennebunk, ME, particularly the many hours of beach time spent with her grandchildren, whom she adored.  She was a faithful parishioner of St. Bridget Parish in Framingham for more than 60 years and a dedicated sports fan to the Boston teams.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Joseph M. Dervin, Jr. and his wife Lorna of Framingham, and Mary Alice Laiho and her husband Peter of Oakland, ME, her grandchildren, Lynne, Sarah, Michael and Aidan, her great grandchildren, Forrest, Christopher, Desmond, Mira, and Luke, and her brother, Dr. James L. Hofmann of Louisville, KY.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Jeanne’s life by celebrating her funeral mass on Monday morning, March 16th in St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Road, Framingham at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery.
