This week, students in Framingham High School’s Medical Society heard from Dr. Jacquelyn O’Sullivan, an obstetrician-gynecologist at MetroWest Medical Center. The club is dedicated to introducing students to the wide variety of careers available in healthcare.

Dr. O’Sullivan shared her journey through college and medical school, giving students an inside look at what it’s really like to work as an OB-GYN and deliver babies.  She also discussed the meaningful work she does every day, including preventive medicine, family planning, prenatal care, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Students had the chance to ask questions and gain insight into life in medicine, learning not only about the challenges but also the rewards of a career in healthcare.

We thank Dr. O’Sullivan for taking the time to inspire future healthcare professionals and for sharing her knowledge, experience, and passion for caring for women and families.

From annual exams to advanced treatments and minimally invasive procedures, MetroWest Medical Center provides personalized care to support women at every stage of life.
