Sabin M Lord Jr, 84 ,of Framingham and formerly of Brewster passed away peacefully on Thursday February 19th, 2026. He is the beloved husband of Carol (McMahon) Lord. They were married for 57 years.
Born in Bridgewater, Massachusetts and then moving to Brewster, he was the son of the late Sabin Sr. and Muriel (Clarke) Lord.
He was a Medic in the Army Reserve.
He attended Marrietta College in Ohio and went on to receive his master’s degree at Tufts University. He was an Environmental Engineer and worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts DEP.
In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his children and cherished grandchildren, Denise (Lord) Ahearn and her husband James of Blackstone, MA Allyson Lord of Worcester MA, Danielle (Lord) Schaefer and her husband Mark of Hopedale MA. His Grandchildren James, Nicholas and Christopher Ahearn. Colin and Nate Schaefer. His dog Cayla
Sabin enjoyed playing golf, collecting coins, and vacationing in Ocean Point Maine with his family. He had an amazing talent for building things, a Jack of all trades and could fix anything. A gift he passed onto his daughters. He was a perfectionist with his craftsmanship. He built things to last. He had a sarcastic, witty sense of humor and has left behind a collection of one liners which were present up until the end. No matter the occasion he would be impeccably dressed. He loved Budweiser, his dogs and his family. He will be truly missed
Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Sabin’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Norton, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. Framingham on Friday, March 6th from 2-5PM. Interment will be private.
