Aurora Ann Simpson, 66, of Framingham, MA passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026. Born and raised in Milford, she was the daughter of Irene L. (Macchi) and the late Ballentino Alphonso.
Aurora spent most of her adult life in Framingham. She built a home filled with love and laughter. A devoted friend, Aurora cherished her connection to Bill W. and loved reconnecting with old friends on Facebook. She found great joy in tending to her plants and flowers, creating a nurturing Haven that reflected her caring spirit.
Aurora was a radiant presence to everyone who knew her. Unafraid to speak her truth she offered advice with genuine love- Even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear, she delivered it with love and without hesitation.
Aurora is survived by her mother, Irene L. Alphonso, her two children, Tyrone E. Simpson, and Danielle M. Lawless, her grandchildren, Elias M. Lawless, Kody W. Simpson, and Kayden R. Simpson.
Aurora leaves behind a legacy of honesty, compassion and an infectious zest for life. Those who knew her can attest bright stars like Aurora burn intensely and leave during glow in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share in her light.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Aurora’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Tuesday evening, February 24th from 6-9PM.
