Martha A. (Colvin) Lupis, 93, a longtime resident of Framingham, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 22, 1932, in Swanton, Vermont, Martha was one of 11 children born to the late Charles Colvin and Gertrude (Holbrook) Colvin. She grew up in a large, close-knit family and later moved to Saxonville, Massachusetts, where she built her life.

In October 1953, Martha married the love of her life, Frank Lupis. They shared 68 wonderful years of marriage, making their home on Fountain Street in Framingham and creating a warm and welcoming space filled with love, laughter, and family.

Martha worked for many years as a head lunch lady in the local schools, where she was known for her kindness, dedication, and ability to make everyone feel cared for. In her free time, she delighted in simple joys: playing bingo, working on puzzles, attending craft shows, and taking scenic rides through the countryside with her husband. She especially loved family card games like Uno and Skip-Bo, often gathering everyone around the table for fun and friendly competition.

Martha is survived by her beloved brother Charles Colvin and sister Judy, her sons Richard Goguen and Alfred Lupis, her grandchildren Melissa Goguen Rolls, Jonathan Goguen, Matthew Goguen, and many other cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2021 and many of her siblings.

Martha will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of family, and the quiet joy she brought to those around her. Her family is grateful for the many happy memories and the legacy of love she leaves behind.

Martha’s family will honor and remember her life with private graveside services.
