Timothy “Tim” Kenneth Hanna

Timothy “Tim” Kenneth Hanna passed away peacefully in Framingham on January 4^th, 2026 at the age of 80. He was born on 01/23/45 and always had a love of numbers. He was the youngest of five children born to Ken and Florence Hanna of Framingham, Massachusetts.

From a young age, Tim worked at his parents’ restaurant, Ken’s Steak House. As an adult, Tim opened several successful bars and restaurants of his own – Timothy’s Spirits, Jessica’s, Timothy’s Too and Ken’s Casual. He later took ownership of Ken’s Steak House and could often be found catching up with regulars in the lounge.

Tim had a brilliant mind, an impressive memory, and a wonderful sense of humor. He memorized the flag and capitol of every country of the world, just for fun, and he could identify any type of helicopter by sound. Tim enjoyed a lifetime of interesting experiences, such as having Aerosmith as his house band and once working as the chauffeur to The Beatles. Tim had many adventures with friends and family in Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, the Caribbean and Ogunquit, Maine.

Tim loved fast cars, boats, warm weather and most of all, his family. He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Darlene, and his three children, Jessica Hammond (husband Josh), Timothy Charles (“Timmy”) and Courtney Renkes (husband Tommy.) He is also survived by his older sister, Connie Shay and his eight beloved grandchildren: Ren, Olivia, Callie, Tyler, Ori, Tommy, Russell and Lucia. He touched many lives and he will be deeply missed. Besides his parents, Tim was predeceased by his brothers, Mark, Ritchie and Michael.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Tim’s life by celebrating his Funeral Mass at St. Bridget Church, 830 Worcester Rd. Framingham on Saturday morning, January 10^th at 11 o’clock. Interment will be private.
