Irmgard E. (Stremmer) Dunn, 87, of Hudson, and formerly Ashland, Framingham, and Natick, died peacefully, December 25,2025 with her family by her side. Born in Berlin, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Friedrich W. & Else (Engwer) Stremmer.

Irmgard was raised and educated in Berlin Germany. After completing her education, she received her certificate as a seamstress and tailor.  After getting married, she immigrated to the United States in 1959, raising her family in Ashland. She learned to read, write and speak English fluently and quickly, which she was very proud of.

Irmgard worked for many years at Marconi’s Restaurant and had her own home business doing tailoring and alterations. She went on to work at Lord & Taylor for several years where she enjoyed meeting and working with many people. She enjoyed sewing, adult coloring, traveling, a good yard sale, thrifting, crafting for family and friends. It always brought a smile to her face. She was extremely proud of her German heritage. She frequently attended many events at the German Club she was a member of.

Irmgard is survived by her children, Ronald Dunn & his wife Lori of Attleboro, Debra Dietz & her husband Ed of Hudson, and Maureen Dunn of Port Richey, FL, her grandchildren, Brittany Palacios, Garrett and Cameron Dunn, Jeffrey and Justin Dietz, Alyssa Collins, Kassidi Bozeman, Kelly and Gianna Laronga, and her great grandchildren, Adrianna, Aidan, Jace, Adrian Jr., Kaia, Taylor, Zoe, and 2 more on the way.

She was predeceased by her brother, Peter of Berlin Germany and the father of her children and former husband, John Dunn.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Irmgard’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the Norton, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. Framingham on Wednesday morning, January 7th beginning at 10:30am. Her Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home at 11:30AM. Interment will be  in St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.
