Baby, it’s cold outside, but newborns at MetroWest Medical Center are staying warm and stylish thanks to the Natick Knitters & Crocheters, a devoted group of local seniors who have been crafting for the community for decades.

Working out of the Natick Community Senior Center, the volunteers create and donate handmade hats, mittens, and scarves, each stitched with care.

Their cozy knit caps have become a sweet tradition in MetroWest Medical Center’s Beautiful Beginnings Birth Center and Special Care Nursery, and families love the extra warmth and personal touch they add.

Hospital staff say they’re incredibly grateful for the group’s generosity and the smiles their handmade creations bring.
