Rosemarie C. “Rose” (Perkins) Lister, 95, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Monday, November 24, 2025, after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald R. Lister, Sr.

Rose was raised and educated in Roslindale and was a graduate of Roslindale High School and served her country proudly as a Sgt. in the United States Marine Corps.  She and her family later moved to Dover where she worked at the Dover Drug Store.

Beautiful both inside and out, Rose loved spending time with her large family. Over the years she enjoyed bowling, opera, and reading a good book. She was a talented seamstress and knitter. Nothing made her happier than cheering on her children and grandchildren at their sporting events.  She touched many lives and will be extremely missed.

Rose is survived by her children, Debbie Lister of Martha’s Vineyard, Cindy Morris & her husband George of Gardner, Vicki Mirageas & her husband Chris of Medway, and Jim Lister & his wife Maureen of Arlington. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great children.

Besides her husband Donald Sr., Rose was predeceased by her son, Donald Jr.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Rose’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Wednesday, December 3rd from 11AM – 1PM.   Her burial services will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Ave. Bourne on Thursday morning at 11:15AM
